Our House presents: Francis Inferno Orchestra

After our killer show with our lovely residents, we are extremely happy to announce our first act of the term, Francis Inferno Orchestra!! Holy moly we are excited to have the Australian house maestro in Cavern, this one gon be gud.

Originally from Melbourne but now based in London, Francis Inferno Orchestra (Griffin James) has been involved in the scene since he was a teen. At the mere age of 21, FIO was a key figure in the development of the blossoming house scene in Melbourne, alongside names such as Tornado Wallace and Fantastic Man. Coming at house music from down under, his productions join the dots between soul, disco and the samplebased music that inspired him as a teenager. In 2014 he released his debut album, ‘A New Way of Living’ to critical acclaim, and in the same year founded Superconscious Records alongside old friend, Fantastic Man. FIO has released EPs across various labels such as Let's Play House and Drumpoet Community, and of course his own Superconscious Records which hosted his homage to Italian dream house, ‘Oasis & A Time’.

FIO is also no stranger to the DJ booth, he has played at some of the biggest clubs across the world, ranging from Corsica Studies in London to Concrete in Paris and Circus in Tokyo. Moving between disco, house, acid and more out-there sounds, James takes an anything-goes approach to DJing that was learnt in a city where variety is key. We cannot wait to see which obscurities, classics and heaters that James will pull out his record bag.
