Having first made their name with their impeccably curated Feel My
Bicep blog, few could have guessed just how influential Bicep would
prove to be. Quickly moving from praising other people’s records to
releasing their own, the Bicep sound has taking in everything from dusty
disco re-edits, to thumping peaktime techno, and their set tonight – a
rare live showing – will be a chance for Manchester to hear their
long-awaited debut album being played. Whilst that would be enough to
cause a stir alone, added excitement comes in the form of a back to back
set from Detroit legends Carl Craig and Moodymann, further live action
from KiNK, and the glistening techno of Rodhad.
