This is the second edition of Leicester's funkiest night mixing together South Asian sounds with Grime, Hip Hop, Jungle, R&B, Garage, Afrobeat and Amapiano.
Local music collective Mirchi Mob have quickly made a name for themselves blending the raw energy of UK bass with the rich rhythms of the diaspora. Fusing tabla, poetry, and rap with gritty club riddims and traditional South Asian flavours, their music tells the story of the influences, sub-cultures and lived experiences that shaped them as first and second generation British Asians. Their sound is a spicy collision of heritage and rave culture. Bold, bassy and unapologetically brown.
Everyone’s invited to experiment with dance moves – in any style they like. On the dance floor, anything could happen... Come along and move it. Groove it. Let's infuse it.
