Vworp - Manchester Doctor Who 62nd Birthday Bash!

After celebrating the 60th and 61st at the Briton's Protection in Manchester plans are being drawn up for another Who themed party.

This time Vworp (Britain's 2nd best local group) will be welcoming old friends and new faces alike to the Seven Oaks for an afternoon and evening of silliness, games, and related nonsense. As before, all profits after event costs go to the British Heart Foundation.

Confirmed guests (subject to commitments) include;

Rob Shearman (Dalek and lots of marvellous BBC books and Big Finish audios).

Jonathan Carley (Big Finish: War Doctor, evening only).

Mark Griffiths (BBC Books, Omega Cutaway Comics).

Sue Twist (Sue Tech!)

Beep the Meep, Professor Tarpey and Mr. David's bingo.

The full line up of events is being honed to perfection by some of the finest minds to ever use the phrase 'megabyte modem' but we are open to suggestions of things you would like to see happen . In previous years there have been quizzes, screenings, guests, bingo, puppet shows, and raffles and while we will almost certainly be reprising some old favourites we are always open to new ideas.  Stay tuned to this thread for the details and updates as the situation develops. As with last year there may be a small entry fee to cover the essential costs but it will be kept to the lowest possible price. We'll be having a buffet and ask that if people bring along a contribution it would be greatly appreciated and also guarantee you will have your favourite party foods. 

Vworp (Britains 2nd best local group) aim to be inclusive, friendly, and welcoming to Who fans of all types and encourage the same spirit from all attendees. It's much nicer that way.
