Born from the ashes of the legendary Leftbank Thursday Night Jam session, LNFC proudly welcomes Stone Cold Hustle to the club for Round 7!

A brand new ensemble featuring Bristol Funk & Soul heavyweights from bands like The LBJBs, The Good The Bad and The Funk, Run Logan Run and Soma Soma.

This hybrid of local funk mavericks are as renowned for creating a serious buzz with their supercharged improv chops as they are for collaborating on inspired original material, delivering a fresh new spin on the genre we all know and love and compelled to break out the ‘F-U-N’ in ‘FUNK’!

Whatever the case, this hustle ain’t no swindle… Stone Cold Hustle are sure to recapture the essence of their many comings-together at their beloved old haunt, whilst bringing some super exciting BRAND NEW material and vivacious vibes to the hottest new club in town.

Behind the wheels of steel, we have Bristol's Godfather of Funk, John Stapleton.

Supreme overlord of the Wanted Records shop in St Nick's Market, his taste and record buying-nous have made this a vital stop on Bristol's record-digging circuit. John's a decorated veteran of the local DJ scene having hosted club nights and parties across the city and beyond for over 20 years covering funk, latin, psych, afro, tropicalia, middle eastern and even Mr Scruff's south-westerly pilgrimages.
