Sabrina Boat Trip and Museum & Art Gallery, Shrewsbury

We will be welcomed aboard Sabrina to enjoy a leisurely morning cruise along the famous and picturesque River Severn loop. We will take in the sights such as: St Chad’s Church, Theatre Severn and the home of Percy Thrower. During our 45 minute cruise we can enjoy a live commentary as well as mid morning tea/coffee and biscuits.

Following our cruise, we will have free time in Shrewsbury for a spot of lunch.

In the afternoon we visit the newly opened attraction, Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery at the Music Hall.

The Music Hall has been entertaining generations of Salopians with visits from such famous faces from Charles Dickens to The Beatles.

In 1835 a group of enquiring minds came together to create a museum in Shrewsbury. Over the years objects arrived from hundreds of people wanting to share their piece of Shropshire’s past. This year the Museum has returned to its earlier home with the same aim – to celebrate unique stories of Shropshire through these collections. With over 300,000 items from fossilised rain drops to Queen Victoria’s stockings there is much to amaze, enlighten and amuse.

Timings: Leave Ross on Wye 9:30am., Hereford 10:00am and Leominster at 10:30am.

We will leave Shrewsbury at 5:00pm and travel back to Leominster 6:30pm, Hereford 7pm and then Ross 7:20pm.
