Legendary director Stanley Kubrick’s dystopian masterpiece ‘A Clockwork Orange’ explodes onto Pig-turehouse's big screen - paired with 'Korova Milk Bar' cocktails! 

Set in a futuristic Britain, A Clockwork Orange is based on Anthony Burgess’ 1962 novel charting the “ultraviolent” rampage of juvenile, Beethoven-loving delinquent Alex (Malcolm McDowell) and his gang of “Droogs”. Horrific crimes and shocking events unfold, until Alex is caught by the authorities and submitted to “behaviour modification technique” to alter his violent nature. 

The film caused a huge moral outrage and widespread controversy upon its release in 1972, leading the film being banned in the UK until the revered director’s death in 1999. 

45 years after its initial release this hugely influential film still maintains its shock value. Visually stunning (worth seeing for the set designs and costumes alone), A Clockwork Orange remains a disturbing, graphically violent slice of social commentary, and retains its rightful place in film history as THE ultimate cult classic. Not for the faint-hearted...
