ipshaker is a vintage music, mainly 60s club night. Hipshaker started in 1998 and has hosted nights in Portsmouth, Basingstoke, Southampton, Bognor, Ryde and London.We also run a weekend of events at the annual Isle Of Wight Scooter Rally ..... the biggest scooter rally in the world.We've hosted The Hipshaker Lounge at the Isle Of Wight Festival since 2006 ….. and we're hoping to be back there in 2011 to celebrate our 11th year!At any Hipshaker event you can expect to hear funk, soul, jazz, rock, r&b, motown, latin, ska, reggae etc etc ...... all from the late 50s through to the early 70s and all on chunky vintage vinyl!
