International Women’s Day

Join us to celebrate International Women’s Day with a networking event aimed at empowering and aspiring women in Manchester.

Event Objective:

To celebrate the achievements and contributions of women across various fields and to foster a community of empowerment, unity, and support for gender equality within Manchester. The event will showcase inspiring women, provide a platform for discussion and also highlight the importance of diversity, inclusion, and women’s leadership.

Target Audience:

  • Professionals, self-employed and community leaders
  • University Students and young women seeking mentorship
  • Aspiring Entrepreneurs

Event format

The talk will be a conversational panel discussion lasting 30mins and a 30min Q&A session. The moderator will ask the following questions and the panel will be given an opportunity to answer them. 

Event Goals:

  1. Celebration of Women’s Achievements: Recognising the incredible impact women have made in Manchester and the surrounding areas
  2. Knowledge Sharing & Empowerment: Discussions on empowering women and advancing gender equality.
  3. Inspiration and Networking: Creating a space for women to connect, share ideas, and form valuable networks for personal and professional growth.
  4. Promoting Gender Equality: Raising awareness of the importance of gender equity, social justice, and women’s rights through keynotes and interactive sessions.
  5. Support for Women’s Initiatives: Highlighting local women-led initiatives, charities, and social causes that work towards supporting women’s development and advancement.
