A one-day accounts training course in Hatfield - 'Know Your Money' Finance for Small Business: for start-ups, self-employed and small business owners on Thursday 12th May. Event Description:Sandra Jones of Click4Accounts Ltd shares over 25 years of accountancy knowledge working with small businesses. The training course shows start ups, self-employed and small business owners how to get the basics right and gives them the tools to do so.  This will save you time and money over the years and will ensure you know how to comply with legal accountancy requirements.

The Know Your Money course will show you how to:

• Create accounting-standard invoices and explain the importance of payments terms and conditions
• Track the value of your sales in a standardised format
• Chase for payments
• Identify the real key costs to your business
• Record business expenses properly
• Understand your cost base: what is necessary and what is not
• Document income and payments to the bank
• Reconcile your bank account
• Understand the actual balances in cash and bank at any given time

Knowing your money is key to running a successful business and having standard, well-defined procedures will save you time and money overall.
