BOGUS are a four-piece band delivering high-energy indie rock with a fearless approach to genre. While rooted in indie, their sound draws inspiration from a wide range of styles, creating a set that’s both familiar and unpredictable.
Formed while studying together at East Durham College, the band quickly developed a reputation for energetic live performances and a chemistry that’s impossible to fake. Since then, they’ve taken their music across the North East, playing venues in Sunderland, Newcastle, and Hartlepool, steadily building a loyal following with every show.

Driven by infectious riffs, powerful rhythms, and an electric stage presence, BOGUS are a band that thrive in front of a crowd. Whether they’re delivering indie anthems or experimenting with fresh influences, their goal is always the same: to put on a memorable performance that leaves audiences wanting more.

On show days, ticket holders can enjoy 20% off food and drinks at local business’ Koji, Mexico 70, and The Ship Isis. We recommend booking the restaurants on weekends.

Flat level parking is available directly opposite the venue, free after 3pm on weekdays and after 6pm on Saturdays & Sundays. Sunderland train station is just a two-minute walk and the bus interchange is a five-minute walk.
