If you like hiking, walking, landscape, nature, countryside ... this is for you!

The Lake District is 3,100 kilometres of nature. It is phenomenal! Of course, we are not going to travel all 3,100 kilometres but we will be going on the Borrowdale Stroll at an easy and leisurely pace.

It is 2.4 miles (4km) through the valley of Stonewaithe and Longwaithe learning about its fascinating history & landscapes.

It really is a special and unique place to visit.

THINGS TO NOTE:

** Wear appropriate shoes! Comfortable sports or hiking shoes!

** Keep warm clothing on you or in a bag. This is Britain, after all.

** Prepare for rain. It may not happen but be prepared (umbrella, raincoat).

** Pack lunch. Enough lunch. A snack, too, if you must. Don't count on buying food whilst there because it may be too expensive or not what you like.

** Pack enough water/fluids.
