The Comedy Box, in association with Comedy Central Live is bringing Stand Up Comedy to Coventry city centre.

The Comedy Box is bringing you the ultimate barrel of laughs this December. Prepare to be in stitches as award winning comedians take to the stage of Square One, and we only have the best for The Big Launch Night for this new monthly event!

The first Saturday of every month will see fantastic line ups featuring some of the best touring comedians. Each event is hosted by Coventry's very own Paul McLaughlin (Producer Paul - Free Radio).

The Bar Opens at 7pm, with doors to the venue open from 7:30pm, and the show starts at 8pm prompt.... you don't want to be late...

Square One is a purpose built performance space in the heart of Coventry, within a stones throw of the Cathedral, within the University Campus. These events are open to all to attend

Jayde Adams:

‘She raps, she cries, she raises the roof’ says the Guardian and her nice big collection of trophies supports the raving reviews that call her act genius. Jayde Adams is a name you may have heard before.

The 2014 Funny Woman Award winner has featured on the hit TV show 8 out of 10 Cats and 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown and has been seen to take on any stage with her original performance that describes tales of awkward personal experiences with a comedic twist.

Jack Gleadow:

Amused Moose National New Comic Award winner Jack Gleadow is a newcomer that has already been declare as ‘seasoned pro’. Gleadow’s high energy show leave audiences wanting more and this December he will be one of the incredible comedians taking the Square One stage.  

Gleadow hasn’t shied away from the spotlight as he has caught the eye of many, leading him on to winning other awards including; International Young Magician in 2013, Hilarity Bites New Comedian Of The Year in 2014 and Hull Comedian Of The Year in 2016.

Andy Robinson:

The incredible Andy Robinson who has supported Jo Brand on four of her hit UK tours, has laughed his way round the Midlands with his award winnning ac will be gracing the stage. The Guardian reviewed Robinson’s act as ‘the comedy equivalent of gold dust, pure talent just waiting to be discovered’.

With over 2000 gigs under his belt Robinson knows exactly how to entertain a crowd and will be the perfect opening performance for a night of laughs at Coventry’s Comedy Box.
