The Cheap Thrills

The Cheap Thrills story begins in a North Liverpool basement, takes in support tours around the UK and Europe with the likes of The DMA’s, Jamie Webster, The Night Café and The Covasettes, and comes to its most recent climaxes with a headline show at Liverpool’s historic Olympia theatre (watch here), a pair of chaotic and vastly over-subscribed sets at 2025’s Glastonbury, and a very quickly sold out headline show at Liverpool’s The Dome. Along the way, they’ve caused chaos at secret hotel room pop up shows, and carnage in local boozers (watch here).

A steady succession of self-released singles have seen The Cheap Thrills pricking up ears on both sides of the Atlantic, receiving support from BBC 6Music and Radio X, along with spins from Sirius XM and KX93.5 in the States, and high profile Spotify playlisting in amongst the likes of ‘Hot New Bands’, ‘The Indie List’ and 'Proper Belters’. The single ‘Codependence’ proved a tearaway hit, and was selected to soundtrack Liverpool FC’s European kit campaign, reaching a audience of LFC fans worldwide.

The second half of 2025 saw the band selling out 1500 tickets in less than 12 hours for their headline show at Liverpool’s Grand Central Dome, before heading out on a six-date UK tour with The Slow Readers Club ahead of returning to the studio to put the finishing touches to their debut album.
A single, ‘Walton Vale’, was released juts ahead of the Dome show, once again picking up support from the BBC and DSPs.

The Cheap Thrills recently announced the launch of pre-sales of their debut album ‘Keep Cheap’ (to be released September 18th 2026), and the single ‘Hairs’, and their upcoming August 1st hometown headline show at Liverpool’s 2500 capacity Mountford Hall has been sold out for weeks. The band have slots at Nottingham’s Splendour Festival and Derbyshire’s Y Not across the summer, as well as supports with The Fratellis in Blackpool and Wakefield.
