Ben Elding & Friends - Series 3 - Ben Elding, Bound to Divide, Hilsdon

We are very excited to bring you the third instalment of Ben Elding & Friends. On Saturday 29th July we return to the fantastic Blue rooms in Lincoln for a night of melodic and progressive music with Ben Elding being joined by special guest - Bound to Divide (Colorize/Sekora) and Hilson (Orphic) 

The party will explore the deep, emotional, and melodic styles of House and Techno, of which Ben has rapidly built a strong reputation across the scene. Ben Elding & Friends is an event that is focused on the music, uniting ravers in unique, intimate spaces across the country and creating a special atmosphere.

Following on from the success of our first two events we are returning with a huge line up once again.

Born and raised in Lincolnshire, DJ & Producer, Ben Elding is quickly becoming known for his melodic and progressive productions and DJ sets. Supporting world class artists such as Franky Wah & Pan-Pot, he has built a strong reputation and fan base through his top-tier performances at well-renowned events across the country, including SHÈN festival, mint festival and a residency at Elsewhere. 2023 promises to be a big year for Ben with releases on reputable labels. Ben Elding & Friends is the next step on Ben’s journey and will provide the perfect opportunity to showcase his own sound and productions.

This time around we welcome special guest Bound to Divide, real name Julian van Straten, a South African-born producer living in the UK in a coastal town called Bournemouth. With releases on labels like Colorize, Monstercat Silk, and Sekora, he is quickly building a name for himself in the underground dance music scene. Bound to Divide aims to take you on an emotional, melodic journey with groovy house beats, and a love for classic breaks, somewhere in the melodic/progressive house/breaks space!

Also joining the Ben Elding & Friends line up is Hilsdon, a DJ and producer born in Birmingham, is an emerging talent in the UK’s underground music scene, weaving together progressive house and melodic house & techno to create his signature energetic and driving progressive sound, entrancing the dancefloor with hypnotic melodies and evocative vocals. Gaining a growing reputation, the head of Orphic has packed out dancefloors across Birmingham, as well as supporting international melodic house & techno artist Korolova at the iconic Egg London. What sets Hilsdon apart is his drive and willingness to push new, exciting sounds within Birmingham through his event brand Orphic, bringing through up-and-coming talent and creating a community for progressive and melodic styles of music.

Event time and location:

- The party will be at the BLUE ROOMS, in Lincoln City Centre. Doors will open at 21:00 and Close at 03:00.

Ticket information:

- This will be a ticketed event and only individuals with tickets will be allowed into the venue.

- Tickets can be purchased through the event on Fatsoma.

Additional requirements

- Attendees are not permitted to take their own alcohol into the venue.

- Please bring your ID as it is an over 18 event and ID will be required for entry. Security will be present during the course of the event to ensure everyone’s safety.
