Let’s Paint The Town Red

Hey guys!!We are pleased (and super excited!) to officially announce Let’s Paint The Town Red. A collaboration between Every Month MCR and an array of amazing artists from Greater Manchester.Help us to combat period poverty, raise funds to enable Every Month to continue to lobby for change and provide to food banks across GM and increase awareness for the individuals that experience discomfort every month.Manchester has a uniquely progressive history, particularly concerning women’s and worker’s rights. These have been central values of the Mancunian spirit for years. Not having the money to buy sanitary products is not only a matter of personal hygiene, but of emotional well-being, whereby those who menstruate report feeling ashamed and ‘dirty’ purely because their income does not stretch to this extra expense, which is so necessary for their health. Whilst this issue disproportionately impacts women and girls, it is not a ‘women’s issue’ but rather something that all members of society should be committed to combat.

The night will be filled with incredible artwork, DJ’s, booze, cakes, craft and more!!

Early bird tickets are just £3 up until the 31st October! This is enough to fund 2 months of sanitary products for an individual.
You also have the option to pay £6 for a ticket (which will cover 4 months of sanitary packs for an individual) or £18 which is a year’s supply of sanitary products for 1 person.
