Wicked! Gone Wrong: The Drag Pantomime

Something wicked (and a little bit chaotic) is flying into Tapyard this festive season!

Join Drag Castle at Tapyard, Newcastle on Wednesday the 3rd of December for a riotous and laugh-out-loud parody of everyone's favourite smash-hit musical Wicked - told like you're never seen it before. This is Drag Castle's third annual(ish) pantomime!

In this twisted tale, Elphaba dreams of escaping her life in gloomy Gateshead and crossing the Tyne for the magical green city of Newcastle (and not because of it's carbon footprint, that's just the colour of the river). When she arrives, she bumps into a certain Wizard who dreams not of her magical prowess, but being a… palaeontologist after one confusing identity crisis (wrong movie!). Add in some broomsticks that don't stay up, some of your favourite tracks from other musical legends and a whole host of drag icons serving camp chaos hotter than a Greggs pasty on a Saturday night, and you've got yourself a ticket to Drag Castle's classic pantomime mayhem. It will be a night you'll never forget… we're very sorry.
