Our House is back at Cavern with our fortynightly music series to bring you what will be the most exciting line up of rising DJs to have ever descended on Exeter, starting with rare disco vinyl king, Medlar.Our 2015/16 series saw artists including Dan Shake, Shanti Celeste, Jasper James, Denis Sulta and Moxie. We guarantee that this year will not disappoint.As ever, expect the highest levels of production from us, as we collaborate with Hawx Audio to bring you the very best sound and lighting in the South West.

MEDLAR (Wolf Music):

Over the last few years Medlar, a.k.a. South Londoner Ned Pegler, has honed a reputation for creating a distinctly warm, funk infused strain of house music. His quirky style is adored by many in the industry, praising his effortless ability to conjure the energy of Chicago house through infectious melodies and soulful vocal cuts that have seen him consistently filling dance-floors. Pegler, claims for his sets to include 90% vinyl and you can expect a jammed medley of rare disco, acid boogie and groove-laden house. Exactly how we like it.

Medlar is one of WOLF music's sharpest weapons, a label which has seen the likes of Bicep, Detroit Swindle, Waze & Odyssey, PBR Streetgang and Maxxi Soundsystem. His most recent releases include 'Body Action' which with it's recognisable vocal hook and piano line, makes it a crowd favourite right now, whilst 'In Dreams' was released last month as part of the first release on Moxie's new 'On Loop' label. Medlar played his fourth Boiler Room set for the launch party! He's even collaborated with Our House favourite Dan Shake to put out the 'Walk' EP in 2015. Big sets at Horizon Festival, Bussey Building and Corsica Studios this year have made him hot property and we can't wait to have a party with him.
