Join us for the second in this year Discussion Film Club, with screening of ‘Our Folks’,
Polish comedy from 1967, directed by Sylwester Chęciński.The plot tells a story about two quarreling peasant families. The Pawlaks and the Karguls who were forced to leave their lands after Second World War. Even after removal, by accident they settle on two neighbouring farms. ‘Our Folks’ is a well known classic comedy referred to as the Polish version of Romeo and Juliet.
The Discussion Film Club is taking place at West Bromwich Library every last Saturday of the month. Our meetings give the opportunity to get a taste of Polish film classics, express an opinion about films and meet new people! This screening and discussion will take place on the last Saturday of February 23/02/2019 at 1PM
