After a few adventures with Hip Hop Divas, clubs with 17 rooms and the odd bit of Trancey decor, we're going back to our roots, returning to the-boat-that-funked, Thekla nightclub for a new round of pure unadulterated, no nonsense Funk Disco and Soul with our favourite crowd of soulful, sugar-crazed supporters (this means you-lot) plus a guest appearance from one of the best disco-re-editors in the game, the Glaswegian soul sensation, The Revenge.

Caramello : Foxy Brown Feat. The Revenge

To kick off the year in style, we invite the producer and re-edit pioneer from Glasgow: The Revenge to blow the top deck off Thekla. The Revenge made his name on the Disco re-edit scene, and from working with the likes of Craig Smith on the infamous 6th Borough Project, but his most recent album the ‘Love That Will Not Die’, released through his own geniusly named label ‘Roar Groove’ which features the likes of Sister Sledge, is filled with tracks that show off his unique disco-flecked house sound. This latest project of his has been the root of his most recent surge in notoriety, it’s new and unique sound makes it one definitely worth checking out, it’s available on both 12’’ vinyl and digital format.
