RAW: Uncensored Storytelling & Live Music

Some nights you still talk about the next day. This is one of them. 

RAW started as one woman's obsession with strangers' stories.  Part storytelling night, part human gathering, part something you won't have a word for until you've experienced it - RAW is London's original storytelling night, and a first of its kind night out.

NOTE: there's a lineup of 8 storytellers at each RAW, which are curated and selected before the event. This is not an open mic.

RAW has been called one of the best nights in London. It's built a patchwork tribe of curious, creative, deeply human people who keep coming back - and keep bringing others.

And this month we're changing things up - coz we're not telling you the venue. Not yet - you'll have to trust us.

What we can tell you: the closest tube station is Angel 🕍

The meeting point is: 26 Britannia Row, London N1 8QH. You must arrive between 7 pm - 8 pm to be taken to the venue. If you plan to arrive after 8 pm, please let us know.

ABOUT OUR TICKETING STRUCTURE: BUY WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD, NOT WHAT'S CHEAPEST

Think of it as your random act of kindness. 

We run a pay-what-you-can structure, and we mean it. Higher-priced ticket sales are meant to allow the cheaper tiers to keep existing – thereby keeping RAW accessible for everyone. 

The cost of a ticket doesn't nearly reflect the love, care and time that goes into each RAW production. Instead, the price reflects our belief that quality of life is a birthright – not a privilege. 

So, pick the tier that's right for you, honestly. RAW is lovingly produced by a team of three women. It is entirely bootstrapped and your support really matters to keep this alive.

RAW started decades ago among inner circles — an IYKYK vibe born from WDN founder Christine's insatiable curiosity and obsession with real, human stories. What began as sharing stories at lock-ins (Chris used to run bars), kitchen tables and street benches, has grown into a monthly night, ritual and community gathering at some of London's most interesting venues. Same spirit, bigger rooms.
