Reggae Roast Soundsystem: Sunday Skank! w/ Ghost Writerz

Reggae Roast, the original Sunday Skank specialists, continue their legendary monthly Sunday sessions in Brixton, London’s cultural mecca.

For this session we've invited the kings of the underground, the Ghost Writerz (AKA Harry 'Sleepy Time Ghost' Metcalfe & Jason 'Jimmy Screech' Bradshaw) to come nice it up! Rolling with the Unit 137 collective, the duo learned their trade the right way; absorbing music at every turn, the pair swapped soulful vocals with a hip hop beat, reggae production with a jungle tip. With releases on Tru-Thoughts, Nice Up & many more and a new LP in the works too, the Ghost Writerz are certainly ones to watch. 

We can't wait to hear their ruff & tuff selection on the Reggae Roast Soundsystem!

As always the Reggae Roast A-Team of selectors & MC's will be holding down a vibe too, expect some heavyweight selections & niceness.

These monthly all day Sunday sessions will be running from 2pm - midnight...
