First DJ announced: Shaw James

A musical enthusiast from an early age, relishing in weaponry of densely syncopated offerings Shaw James’ intrigue spans across the fruitful basslines and stripped back grooves of Electronic Music. More recently, Shaw James can be found behind the scenes of Distinct, a Manchester based record label pushing out the freshest vinyl only and digital releases.

Confidently embracing the formidable warm-up slot to offering hair-raising selections to a full room. Shaw has been found to throw his own parties across Manchester and Leeds, in laying the groundwork for the likes of Djebali, Mihai Pol, Fumiya Tanaka, Robert Dietz, cALLy and Adam Shelton only further cementing his live status in the North. Alongside his appearances across Leeds and Manchester Shaw is now indulging into production, with releases already appearing on his own imprint Distinct and some flavoursome groovers in the pipeline set to release later this year.
