A Sorrento Soirée: Pete Williams & Andy Wellings

We're back at The Social for our second soirée.

Our headliner for the evening is the incredibly talented Pete Williams. Pete is a founding member of Dexys Midnight Runners playing on their number one single 'Geno' and also being a pivotal force in their resurgence as Dexys. After recording Searching For The Young Soul Rebels, Pete left Dexys Midnight Runners in Zurich at the end of an exhausting trans-European tour; returned to England and formed The Bureau. In 2012, Pete released his long-awaited debut solo album ‘See ‘. followed by ‘Roughnecks and Roustabouts’ 2015 and ‘H.O.L.L.A.N.D.’ 2018. Pete and his band members have toured as special guests with The Proclaimers, The Specials and Simon and Oscar from Ocean Colour Scene, and have headlined the Lunar Stage at Moseley Folk Festival and performed a sold-out show at the brand new performance space at Birmingham Symphony Hall. He will be joined on stage by Andy Wellings for an intimate acoustic show.

Support come from rising star Kevin Iverson, a singer-songwrtier who has recorded and worked with Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene) and regularly gigs across London and the South East. His debut album has just been released. You are going to love him.

Our resident word maestro, Paolo Hewitt, will also take to the stage to premiere an exciting new project.
