Love Riot

Be not afraid, for Pride is a Love Riot once again!

Celebrating everything that makes the queer community divine, Dandy is proud to be bringing back our huge Alternative Queer Pride spectacular for yet another year. And we couldn’t be happier to be throwing it at the Deaf Institute once again, filling all three floors with unapologetic LGBTQ+ joy.

In the Music Hall: resident Dandy DJs Sugar Puff Daddy, ADBT, Adaimia, and Deany Sevigny are joined by icons Sum Ting Wong (RuPaul’s Drag Race UK) and IDB (WDITMF, Kreuzbear), playing the best in alternative pop and dance, indie bangers, disco faves, nu rave throwbacks, gay icons, queer noise - and anything else that gets you jumping.

Taking over The Lodge: OUT OUT, Middlesbrough’s community-first arts and rave collective, is an evolving alternative queer entity where each night is built around a distinct theme; where people arrive dressed as a part of the world they are building, bringing a raw, DIY approach as it reimagines nightlife.

Commanding the Basement: legendary multi-genre club and festival DJ, Mx World, famous for ruling Liverpool’s heavy alt scene at K1 Metal Club - even taking it all the way to Download Festival XXII! Expect new favourites, undiscovered gems, and classic anthems as they have the room dancing and moshing.

Keeping the energy up: stunning performers Inflateacub, The Sapphic Menaces, Naomi Cannibal, Fatality KO, and Thanasis, all taking over the stage and hyping you up until the final song. And keep an eye out through the night for our Roving Reporters - they wanna talk to YOU and have YOUR voices heard!

Come as you are, as you were, and as you want to be. This is alternative queer clubbing for everybody and every body; for our entire community and those who love us! 💖🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
