KING PRAWN support King Punch

At the frontline of the UK’s original ska-punk explosion, King Prawn carved out a sound that was uniquely their own. This genre-

crashing approach earned them two Kerrang! Award nominations and a reputation as one of the most electrifying live acts of

their era.

Following five acclaimed albums, worldwide touring and a sold-out farewell show at London’s Forum in 2003, the band dissolved

- only to roar back into life a decade later. However, this resurrection was now in the shape of a powerhouse 7-piece, complete

with brass section and keyboards.

Since reforming they’ve released their fifth studio album and taken their incendiary live show from Camden to Croatia. Their

headline sets at Slam Dunk and Boomtown Fair have cemented their status as enduring icons of the scene and they’ve recently

beefed-up their line-up with the addition of Tim MacDonald (Capdown) on drums. Today, they continue to draw cross-

generational crowds who connect with their message, their passion and their unmistakable sound.

This year King Prawn release a series of new singles on Cherry Red Records and a ttd edition vinyl ep on Property of The Lost

Records. This sees a return to a heavier sound and their punk rock roots. There’s a new album in the works and shows being

announced throughout the year. King Prawn are back and ready for the next chapter in their 33 year history... still raging and

relevant as ever!
