Fargo Promotions present Godiva Festival Calling Rock & Metal 2019 at Arches Venue Coventry!

Godiva Calling is a 'battle-of-the-bands' style competition in which Coventry and Warwickshire's finest bands are called upon to take to the stage to try and impress the judges, battling it out to win a slot at Godiva Festival.
Coventry Godiva Festival is billed as the UK’s biggest free family music festival and is now in its 20th year! Based in the city’s historic War Memorial Park, the three-day event offers great live music, family entertainment, international food and drink, craft village and children’s fun fair!

Organised by Coventry City Council with the support of partners, the festival prides itself on offering the best of Coventry and Warwickshire backed up by top national artists and performers.

There are just a few rules, for example, acts are required to have a CV postcode and must perform original material. Both bands who are signed and unsigned can apply to play.

Requirements for applicants:
*At least one band member MUST have a CV (Coventry and Warwickshire) postcode.
*1 venue per artist based on the genre they perform
*NO Cover Songs allowed (unless recreated via sampling), any bands not observing this rule will automatically be disqualified.
*No swearing or profanity
*Strictly 20 minutes performance time per band/artist.
