Flying in from Toronto, Canada, Housewerk welcomes a true underground house music veteran. 

This October, Jason Hodges joins us in Plymouth for what promises to be one of the standout Housewerk events of the year.

A DJ, producer and selector with roots stretching back to the early days of the North American house movement, Jason has spent more than three decades immersed in the culture. From Toronto’s underground warehouse scene in the early 90s through to today’s global house music landscape, he’s remained dedicated to one thing: delivering quality music without compromise.

His sound is built on the foundations of New York, New Jersey and Chicago house — tough drums, deep grooves and infectious energy designed for packed dancefloors. It’s a style that has earned him respect from some of the genre’s most influential names, with support coming from artists including DJ Sneak, Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, DJ Heather and Oliver Dollar.

As a producer, Jason’s catalogue speaks for itself. With releases, remixes and collaborations spanning decades, he’s worked alongside some of the most respected names in house music while continuing to push his own sound forward through his Toronto-based imprint, Junction Style Music.

For Housewerk, this is one of our biggest bookings of the year.

We’re incredibly excited to be bringing Jason over from Toronto for an intimate club show in Plymouth. These are the artists we love showcasing at Housewerk — DJs with a genuine story, decades of experience and an unwavering commitment to quality house music.

And that’s not all.

Joining Jason on the bill is Irish house music heavyweight Mr See, another artist with serious underground pedigree. With releases on legendary labels including Robsoul and a reputation built on deep grooves, impeccable track selection and years of dedication to the scene, Mr See has become a respected name amongst house music purists across Europe. We’re flying him in from Ireland especially for this event, making this a genuinely international celebration of underground house music.

Completing the line-up are Housewerk favourites BUFS and Johny5, two selectors who consistently know how to work a dancefloor and set the tone for unforgettable nights. With support this strong from start to finish, expect a proper journey from the moment the doors open.
