Welcome to our small part of the OASIS - our very own Gunter hangout - inspired by the events of Ready Player One, we are proud to open in Manchester for just two weeks only, our very own 'Ready Player One' inspired event.... - Player one, are you ready!

At our event you will find a libary of Virtual Reality experiences + An Original 1980s Arcade with all the games that Parzival plays in the 'Ready Player One' Book! - including Pac-man, Galaga, Tempest, Joust and Black Tiger, all original 1980s vintage machine + a range of classic consoles games too and pop culture memorabilia. 

We have a library of VR Experiences, including the Virtual Reality experience that will allow you to enter Aechs Garage as seen in the movie based on the Original ILM design!!! (see film below) other VR experiences allow you to become a Jedi on Tatooine, fly an X-wing in Star Wars and we have a selection of official 'Ready Player One' VR games to choose from! How the event works..

Sessions run 2/3 times a day, from Friday 30th March to Sunday April 15th 2018 and this event takes place over the UKs Easter Holidays, and so we are open most days during this time.

Booking is advanced booking only, sessions are limited to 20 players per session, you can access over the 3 hour sessions the 4 VR rigs, 1980s Arcade set up and our selection of Video Game Consoles (which include Mario Kart, Fifa, and Snes with over 20 games) - we also have a coffee shop onsite with a selection of hot and cold drinks and retro pick n mix! 

We also have non VR tickets available, for people that want to watch or just play on the vintage arcade machines.

About Ready Player One..... In the year 2045, the world has been gripped by an energy crisis from the depletion of fossil fuels and the consequences of global warming, and overpopulation, causing widespread social problems and economic stagnation. To escape the decline their world is facing, people turn to the OASIS,[a] a virtual reality simulator accessible by players using visors and haptic technology such as gloves. It functions both as an MMORPG and as a virtual society, with its currency being the most stable in the real world. It was created by James Halliday who, when he died, had announced in his will to the public that he had left an Easter egg inside OASIS, and the first person to find it would inherit his entire fortune and the corporation. The story follows the adventures of Wade Watts, starting about five years after the announcement, when he discovers one of the three keys pointing to the treasure.
