INTRODUCING…….!!!!!!!!!!Grass Roots Presents ( THE LAUNCH)Its been hard keeping it under wraps but we’re finally ready to announce our MASSIVE LAUNCH. To the stage we are bringing a handpicked line up of legendary British talent. We at Grass Roots know the perfect night is all about the right crowd, vibe and heavy basslines. Our first headliner is someone who needs little introduction. He has been away for a while but fresh out of retirement he is ready to show the world what he is now about. FIRST HEADLINER —————————————BENGA
This is someone who, at 28, has been there, seen it, done it, and changed the world. That’s not even an exaggeration: he’s changed the course of modern music more than once, written untold underground classics, had top ten hits, worked with some of the biggest artists on the planet, lived the global megastar DJ lifestyle and then some and – just – lived to tell the tale. Big Apple label put out the first Skream and Benga tunes when Ollie and Beni were barely into their teens, it hardly felt like a world-changing event, just the natural next step. Those early tunes, in the style just starting to be known as dubstep, would change the musical world.
SECOND HEADLINER

PALEMAN (SWAMP 81 / Rinse FM)
Paleman has rapidly risen through the ranks since emerging in 2012 to become one of the most respected DJs and producers coming from within the UKs vibrant scene. With multiple releases on Loefah’s SWAMP 81 label, collaborations with UK mercury prize jazz nominees Polar Bear and a monthly show on Rinse FM , Paleman seems to be on an ever increasing upwards curve. With his tunes being spun by by the likes of Boddika, Skream, Loefah, Jackmaster, Ben UFO and more, Paleman has a knack for percussive, minimal bass driven music.
