LOVE AT FIRST RUN - Singles event

Under the Arches hosts LOVE AT FIRST RUN -Our singles event <3

Wednesday 26th August 7pm

When booking your ticket you will be promped to complete a short questionnaire, so that we can complete some match making for this event! 

Running in 1km loops, for 5km. Each loop you will be partnered up into pairs or small groups based on the questionnaires you complete when booking, giving you 5 opportunities to run with new people. Loop number 5 will be running as a whole group. 

Pace- Fastest pace will be 6 mins 30 secs per KM, slowest pace 7 mins 30 per KM. Front and back runner present for all loops. We are attending this event to mingle, so no need for PB's here, please stick to the pace times! It is advised to be comfortable with a level of running to book into this event, as running this pace and chatting does require some practice. There will be small breaks inbetween each loop whilst you find your new partner/groups, so there will be time to catch your breath and reset for your next chat :) 

Venue: Thirst, Chelmsford 

7pm-7.30pm Registration (closes at 7.30pm sharp)

7.30pm-7.45pm - Groups revealed, find your people!  

7.45pm - Run begins 

Following the 5 loops, the bar will be open for post run mingling and socialising. 

Ticket includes one alcoholic beverage or soft drink (house pint, house wine or soft drink, menu available on the day).

Age restrictions - Strictly over 21+. The match making will place you with people of a similar age bracket to yourself. However, feel free to chat to whoever you are comfortable with after the run! 

Sexual orientation - All welcome. We would like everybody to feel comfortable to attend and will do our best to cater to the masses. Whilst we cannot guarantee compatibility with others based on who books onto each event, we will review the data ahead of the event, and if we will we have less than two viable connections for you, we will contact you to discuss and/or carry the ticket over to another event.
