The Orbit was becoming known at the forefront of the emerging Techno scene, Ark was THE rave to go to in the North, Music Factory spawned multiple club nights that went on the flourish elsewhere, Cream was launched in Liverpool with co-founder Andy Carroll and The Gallery kept up its reputation as one of the best clubs in Europe.
