Machine Soul Halloween Special with Ash Lauryn, Sofie K, Apricot Ballroom and Tomson

On Friday 1st November Machine Soul return to FORGE to bringing Ash Lauryn, one of the most exciting House DJs to come out of Detroit for a long time, in collaboration with Apricot Ballroom who will be hosting the Workroom with NTS resident Sofie K!

Ash Lauryn is the first DJ in a long time to rise to the top of the scene with a totally fresh House sound that balances between two worlds, with an old-school house head foundation and a digital age suaveness, blending her skills as a DJ, writer, curator, and radio host to champion black dance music. She will be playing a special three hour set in the FORGE Warehouse alongside former Development resident Tomson and Machine Soul's Sirrey & Benedict.

The Workroom will be hosted by Apricot Ballroom, bringing Sofie K to join them for their monthly instalment of their legendary party, hauling their Klipschorn-based sound system into the locally renowned space with founders Nonna Fab and Joi La Frique completing the lineup.
