Housewerk is a monthly dancefloor gathering curated by BUFS taking place on the last Friday of every month at Cosmic Kitchen. Built on a foundation of jackin’, Chicago, and classic house sounds, Housewerk brings high-energy sets, deep grooves, and a warm, open vibe to the heart of the city.Each month, BUFS invites a rotating cast of guest DJs and friends into the mix, keeping the energy fresh and the selections on point. “My career as a professional DJ has seen me play globally across clubs, private functions, after-shows, celebrity parties, fashion shows, corporate events, gigs and festivals. In July 2024 I started producing House Music under the moniker ‘Ross Whisper’ and some of my tracks have already received radio play on BBC Introducing and one was personally chosen by DJ Spoony as his ‘Record Of The Week’ for BBC Radio 2, the UK’s most listened-to radio station. This summer I have a prestigious residency at the world famous Pike’s Ibiza, playing every month from May-October.” My passion for music continues through curating soundtracks for a wide range of companies within the hospitality and fashion industries. Here I deliver bespoke playlists for each aspect of a business, taking into consideration the guest experience, the desired clientele and the essence of the brand. Some particularly interesting projects have included the structuring of music across the entire estate for The Newt in Somerset (GQ’s 2020 “Hotel of the Year”), and an exclusive mix for Dr. Martens' 60th anniversary.
