As Former students ourselves, we know how stressful getting ready to move to university can be, especially getting freshers organised! There's no need to worry about university choices - our REFUNDABLE TICKETS Policy has got you covered. If you unfortunately don't get into your chosen University, you are eligible for a full refund taking the pressure off booking early!

Our Events always sell out VERY FAR In advance, so we recommend getting your freshers tickets sooner rather than later! once we're sold out, there's nothing else we can do!

- Must have purchased the ticket before Wednesday 14th August 2024 11:59pm

- Must provide UCAS evidence of your deferral or university change and 1 form of valid Photographic ID

- Must email glitchdnbevents@gmail.com with the subject line ‘University Refund 2024' in order for your refund to be processed

- All refunds & transfers will be processed within 21 working days from the
time specified evidence is received :

- Refunds must be submitted by no later than 1st September 2024, any 
refunds that come in after this date will NOT be accepted.

We know it can be confusing when looking at freshers events & what to buy, having been in the same situation ourselves, when we went to university! so we have listed some red flags you should look out for when booking freshers tickets to try and make things easier for you!

🚩 No venues listed for event/events - Or unsuitable venues listed

A warning sign to be aware of when purchasing tickets for freshers events is insufficient details regarding the location or the mention of an inappropriate venue. the choice of the venue plays a vital role In the events success, making it important to do your own research! Inadequate information about the venue may suggest poor organisation or possibly things being hidden by the event organisers!

🚩 Vague or nonsensical event descriptions

Another warning sign to watch for when purchasing tickets for freshers events is a vague, or nonsensical event description. a proper event description should CLEARLY outline the nature of the event, its theme, and any dress code requirements. Ambiguous or irrelevant descriptions may also suggest poor organisation, or possibly things being hidden by the event organisers!

🚩 99p tickets listed in venues that are unsuitable

Tickets offered at a price significantly lower than what you would expect for the advertised level of production quality are a significant warning sign when purchasing tickets for freshers events, whilst we try and keep our prices as low as possible, other organisers will try and appeal by seeming like a bargain, unfortunately this is too good to be true. It's crucial to weigh the promised quality of production against the ticket price, and the cost of comparable events. if the price is substantially lower than anticipated, it might suggest insufficient funding for the event, that the organisers are skimping on expenses, or that the event will not meet expectations!

🗣️ Can my non-university friends or partner attend?

✅ Absolutely, Bring Them Along! (Ticket Purchase required)

🗣️ Why do the tickets come in different price tiers?

✅ There is only a limited amount of tickets we can sell. Therefore we operate a festival style ticketing model. The earlier you buy your ticket the cheaper it will be! With our refundable policy, there really is no reason to wait!

🗣️Does my ticket need to be in my name?

✅ No it doesn't, we just need to scan your barcode. However, please be cautious when buying tickets from a third party.

🗣️What ID will I need to provide on entry?

✅ You will need to show a valid driving licence, provisional driving licence or passport. This is in line with the national guidelines and nightclub entry requirements policy.

🗣️How can I sign up as a rep?

✅ There should be an option to sign up here on fatsoma, however if you message the Glitch Instagram Account one of the team can explain all the steps to you!
