Cyclone24 Manchester is your opportunity to clock up as much distance as possible alongside your team at the home of Team GB, the National Cycling Centre, Manchester. The busiest velodrome in the world with regular riders such as Jason Kenny OBE, Laura Trott OBE and Jody Cundy MBE, now is the chance to set your own record at this iconic venue.
Ride to raise money for a chosen charity, bond with employees and clients, or simply to achieve something extraordinary.
Cyclone24 is the ultimate in cycling challenges where riders face the unenviable task of staying awake for 24 hours whilst battling physical exhaustion and mental fatigue as they take to the velodrome track in their team to cycle throughout the 24 hour period.
Teams are made up of 6 riders and the challenge format is in relay style, with one rider of your team on the track at a time. Your team must devise their strategy on how and when to rotate, with all teams vying to cover the furthest distance possible with the time frame.
Cyclone24 is a great team challenge, and what's more is you don't need to be Chris Hoy to take part! The challenge is open to all abilities, even those with no prior track cycling experience, as it is fully supported before and during the event.
