Bacana Funk: Celebrating International Women's Day 💥

It may have only been a week since our last outing at Bath Brewhouse, but we’ll be wasting no time in bringing the heat back to the dance floor—this time in celebration of International Women’s Day! 💥💖

Bacana residents Beavs and Buckley will be taking over the decks for a special 5-hour B2B set, joined by joined by the incredible KAT! A key part of the Brakery Collective, Kat curates Funk, Soul & Disco gems from Africa, the Caribbean & Latin America. 🌎🎶. 

Alongside our signature percussive grooves, afro-boogie, and Latin-funk, we’ll be shining a spotlight on some of our favorite tracks from legendary female artists, including Brazilian goddess Gal Costa, fellow boogie-queen Sandra De Sá, Nigeria’s iconic Lijadu Sisters, iconic South African sweetheart Letta Mblublu and Japan’s disco pioneer Miki Matsubara! 🥰🙌
