Having kickstarted our journey in our first term at university, we’ve played 40 minute sets at events in Durham, including at the Durham college, St Cuthbert’s Society on the 20th of February, and at The Library Bar, a sports bar and live venue, for St Patrick’s Day. The Ivies, a Durham band on BBC introducing. In our second gig, we pushed beyond the college boundaries and supported The Keemons (of which our drummer is a member) and Take 800, two other Durham student bands.
In our set, we play a range of covers in our own style at the moment, such as well-known Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths and Red Hot Chilli Peppers songs. We perform a range of music, and like to perform anything from punk anthems to Texas rock ballads. Alongside this, we’ve begun arrangements on less well-known tracks, such as Trudy And The Romance’s ‘Angel’ and will begin working on arranging original solo songs for our band in the coming months. We’re all university students with previous performing experiences, with two of our band members performing for nearly a decade in other projects, from Ireland to Prague. Our setup comprises: lead guitar, rhythm guitar, vocals (lead singer and drummer), keyboard, drums and bass
