The Third Sound with support from Galactic Ghosts & Exploding Head

The ever evolving The Third Sound are back with their hypnotic blend of psychedelia and drone infused post punk. After a successful Australian tour in early 2026, the cards were reshuffled once again, and with a brand-new line up the band has begun working on a new album (their 7th), due to be released next year.

Before finishing the record, there will be run of shows this autumn testing out some of the new material, mixed with songs from previous albums, many of which becoming firm favourites with audiences everywhere during their live sets in recent years.

The well-received last LP ´Most Perfect Solitude´, was released on Fuzz Club Records in 2024 followed by stand-alone single ´Remedy´, which dropped earlier in 2026.

After touring extensively the last few years, both with The Third Sound and as a guitarist for the Brian Jonestown Massacre, the Berlin based Icelandic musician Hákon Aðalsteinsson is ready to take The Third Sound in new directions alongside recently joined fellow Icelander and BJM member Hallberg Daði Hallbergsson, Francis Broek (Goblyns) and Mike Denton (formerly of The Lucid Dream).
