Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, Sola Guinto is an alternative pop artist now living in Manchester. With a fierce and unapologetically punk approach to pop music, her music pulses with both an edge and refinement that resonates deeply with audiences. After being selected out of thousands of entrants for American Express & NME Magazine’s AmEx Gold Unsigned Competition in 2024, Sola was also featured on the subsequent Amazon Prime documentary "Unsigned". Following this, her climate-anxious anthem “ARMAGEDDON” went viral on both TikTok and Instagram, gaining her many millions of views across the platforms plus over 5 million streams and counting. Off the back of this, 2025 MOBO Award winners ALT BLK ERA joined on an alternative version of “ARMAGEDDON”, released in August 2025. Her newest collaboration dropped in June 2026 on the socially-conscious banger “BONKERS” with RuPaul’s Drag Race legend Laganja Estranja.
