For the 12th year,  Onit Events brings you the FRESHERS WRISTBAND, your OFFICIAL Freshers events programme in partnership with the best venues in town for the ULTIMATE start to your time at University!

This is the ONLY wristband endorsed by The University of Chester, Chester Student's Union, Rosie's Nightclub & Off The Wall.....don't get scammed by fake events always check the authenticity of who is selling you the dream!

Be wary of events/promoters selling a night with no venue, saying things like "The best clubs" or "TBA".   Chester only has a couple of nightclubs and non of them advertise in this way. If they don't tell you the venue, do NOT give them your money....it means they haven't got one sorted!

This is ONLY Wristband accepted, this year it will cover our events at

2. Off The Wall
3. Rosies

Saturday 17th Sept

Beach Party Welcome drinks at VARSITY BAR on Campus. If your moving in on Saturday this is the perfect place to come to get to know your new friends and your student bar.

You can collect your FRESHERS BAND From us inside the the bar and enjoy come great Latin / Caribbean music 

Sunday 18th Sept

Freshers welcome - UV PAINT PARTY 

• All Venues taking party in this huge event, get painted in UV paint and wear a white T for it. Start your evening with us at Varsity bar from 8pm. This is the bar on the Campus for all Freshers, the perfect place to meet other Freshers!
• Off The Wall will have FREE UV Face and Body Painting from 8pm, get down before 11pm to get yours!

• A1 & J1 Performing LIVE at Rosies including the smash hits LATEST TRENDS, NIGHT AWAY & DEAL OR NO DEAL. This event is going to extremely busy so we highly recommend getting your wristband before they sell out. This event will be Ticket only!

Monday 19th

• Karaoke @ Varsity Bar

• Beach Party @ Off The Wall
• Beach wear ESSENTIAL, come along to Off The Wall for the big Freshers Beach Party, with the cheapest drinks in town and a SURF MACHINE for your entertainment!

Tuesday 20th 

• Movie mixology / student union 
• Movie Karaoke / Varsiry bar 

• Papa Johns FREE Pizza and beer, Speed dating and Traffic light party @ Off the Wall. That's right we have teamed up with PAPA JOHNs PIZZA. Single? come along to our special STUDENT SPEED DATING from 7pm and enjoy some FREE PIZZA and a FREE BEER. This is perfect for meeting new people and meeting your new house mates, course mates ect. 
• From 9pm It's a TRAFFIC LIGHT PARTY, wear the colour that suits your relationship status!
• GREEN = AVAILABLE

Wednesday 21st

Chester ZOO PROJECT - All venues take part in this huge night. DRESS AS YOUR FAVOURITE ANIMAL for the BIGGEST NIGHT OF FRESHERS!!!!
