Funkademia takes over the middle bar at Joshua Brooks for a Saturday day party. Free entry. Classic funk, soul and disco from 4pm.

Funkademia has been running in Manchester since 1995, which makes it the city's longest running club night. Thirty years of funk, soul and disco, and for one Saturday afternoon it moves into the middle bar on Princess Street.

Black Hawks Of Panama is the Manchester producer behind releases on Hot Creations, Future Disco and Midnight Riot. Adam Unsworth is one half of Audiowhores, the house duo with a back catalogue on Defected and Soulfuric. Jamie Scahill is a Funkademia founder and resident.

Free entry, and a ticket holds your place on the door. Doors 4pm. Last entry 7pm. Finishes 10pm. 18+, photo ID required.
