GRINSTOCK COMEDY CLUB - FEBRUARY INSTALLMENT

February 14th - Crowne Plaza Felbridge Gatwick Hotel

Love is built on laughter, so come celebrate Valentines day with us, with a belly full of laughter.

In the great words of Tommy Cooper ‘Just like that we’re back’ with our February instalment of Grinstock Comedy. January was truly an amazing show, seeing close to 190 people through the doors for our first ever January night, thank you to all that came out, what a line up of acts and an amazing show it was.

February is no different we assure you, the line up is outstanding, and it falls on valentine’s day, so a great way to celebrate this special time of year, as they say love is built on laughter.

As it’s such a special night of the year and to celebrate we’re doing another cracking ticket deal to the first 80 people to buy tickets, we’re doing our £8.50 deal again  Saying that £11.00 per ticket is still great value for the calibre of acts we have gracing the mic and Grinstock monthly.

We’ve been working close with the amazing venue and we now offer text ordering on drinks from your seat as well as pre order facilities to reduce bar waiting times and improve on your overall experience with us each month.  We’ve also increased on the food options available and will be having a full comedy club special menu starting this month.

So that just leaves us to say have a look over the amazing line up of acts we have in Feb and grab one of our special priced valentines tickets before they’re all gone.

The Line up of acts with us on February 14th can be seen below -

Edd also recently guest starred in an episdoe of Joe Sutherland and Stephen Bailey's On The Rocks podcast.

Taking the UK circuit by storm, Edd can also be seen performing his unique style of ridiculous anecdotes in various comedy clubs such as The 99 Club, Just The Tonic, Jongleurs, Komedia and the family-friendly show, Comedy Club 4 Kids.

HEADLINER MAISIE ADAMS

So You Think You're Funny? Winner 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival

Best New Comedy Nominee 2017 Brighton Fringe

2018 Best Newcomer Nominee 2018 Edinburgh Comedy Awards

"This is a name to watch!" - Official Buxton Fringe Review

Maisie Adam is a young female comedian from Yorkshire. Having only started on the circuit in 2016, her anecdotal material and self-deprecating charm have quickly won her praise up and down the country.

After previewing her first stand-up show "Living On The Edge" at the Ilkley Fringe, she then took the debut show on tour to theatres, festivals and comedy nights across the UK. After receiving positive reviews from runs at Bath Comedy Festival, Hastings Fringe Comedy Festival, Southend Fringe and Guildford Fringe, the show was nominated for Best New Comedy at the 2017 Brighton Fringe.

Later that year, Maisie entered the nationwide So You Think You're Funny? competition (which has previously been won by many of her comedy heroes, including Peter Kay, Aisling Bea, Tom Allen, David O'Doherty and Lee Mack).

Before she knew it, she found herself with a place in the Grand Final, held at the Gilded Balloon up at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and on 24th August she won the competition, becoming only the 4th woman to have done so in its 30 year history.

Maisie has since appeared on The Stephen K Amos Talk Show, SkyArts and BBC Radio 2. She has appeared alongside Josie Lawrence and Dan Antopolski as well as opening for Lloyd Griffith, Bec Hill and Gavin Webster.

What the press have to say:

"Adam exudes an appealing, quirky energy, and is clearly a natural wit" - Steve Bennett, Chortle.

"There’s something incredibly watchable about Adam – whether it’s her effervescence onstage, finding jokes in the minutiae of life or her fantastic physicality. Inevitably she’ll be compared to a young, female Peter Kay, except her jokes and performance are far more eccentric." - The Skinny.
