Simon Doty lands in Manchester for a rare all-night long session at Joshua Brooks.
The Canadian producer has built a solid underground reputation through releases on Anjunadeep, Knee Deep In Sound ,and Last Night On Earth, alongside a growing catalogue on his own imprint , Recess. His sound sits at the intersection of melodic and progressive house, driven by analogue hardware, weighty low-end and patient, groove-led arrangements designed for proper club rooms.
Doty’s 2023 debut album Universal Language marked a step up, taking him on a 60-date world tour and into venues such as Fabric London, Brooklyn Mirage and Red Rocks. Since then, he’s continued to refine his approach with recent releases across Anjunadeep and Recess, while maintaining regular support from tastemakers including Pete Tong and Danny Howard.
The Reup Tour reflects his preference for extended sets and open-to-close formats, allowing space to move between deeper selections, rolling house and more progressive moments as the night unfolds.
This Manchester date takes place in the Joshua Brooks basement, powered by the venue’s VOID Acoustics system, offering a close-quarters setting where long blends, subtle shifts and low-end detail can properly land.
