CALLING ALL MUSICIANS IN SOUTHAMPTON!!!

We are running an OPEN MIC SESSION at THE SOCIAL! 🎤

Written a song that you want to be heard? Want to connect with other musicians in the local area and start a band or collaborate?

THEN LOOK NO FURTHER! 

 We are running an open mic session to showcase all singer / songwriters in the local area, with an aim at connecting local musicians who have found it hard to find people to collaborate with. Being musicians ourselves we want to create a space that allows people to connect with one another through music, by playing to people that are actively interested in what they are showcasing.

🎤🎸🎹 IF YOU ARE A SINGER / SONGWRITER or INSTRUMENTAL SOLO ARTIST - Come and show us what you've got! The stage is yours, whether you're playing your own song or performing some covers, we want to hear it!

🥁 IF YOU ARE A MUSICIAN LOOKING FOR OTHER ARTISTS - Come along and meet them! Have a listen and a chat over a drink, and find people to start a band with!

🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ IF YOU ARE NOT A MUSICIAN - Come and listen to some of Southampton's newest music talent!

IMPORTANT:

This event is a FREE TICKET EVENT! We are only ticketing the event to enable us to keep track of numbers for the day! however there are LIMITED TICKETS so get them now! (you must get a ticket to attend the event)

WHAT WE HAVE:

- Microphone 🎤

- Amps 🎛️

- Keyboard 🎹 

- Jacks 🎚️

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:

- Any other instruments you want to play (e.g. Guitars, Ukuleles etc) 🎸

- any pedals / pedalboards you want to do play with (and all connecting equipment)

PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE EVENT AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE TO MAKE SURE YOU CAN RESERVE YOUR SPACE TO PERFORM! (If you are not able to arrive at 1pm then give us a message on Instagram of the time you'll be there and want to perform and we can put you on the list!)
