Celebrating 8 years in business, the UK’s funkiest music agency We, Like You is throwing a crazy party bash at Concorde 2, Brighton on Friday 4th November.

Now an agency with an international roster, We Like, You return to the town where they first laid roots to party into the small hours of Saturday.

The line-up for this one off spectacular includes some agency favourites, acts from across the music industry who have decorated We, Like You billings since time began. It wouldn’t be a We, Like You party if a dose of good lively fun wasn’t at the heart of it, so prepare to be knocked backwards by some top dog merry makers.

The Nextmen take headline duties, providing their unique hybrid of Hip Hop, Jungle, Drum’n’Bass, Ska and Reggae. Famous for their unstoppable podcasts, The Nextmen have spiked to the top of the iTunes charts on more than one occasion.  Never ones to be pigeon–holed into just one genre, The Nextmen’s DJ set will have good vibes ricocheting from wall to wall, delivering a petri dish of marvelous musical mash-ups.

What about a 12-piece Hip Hop / Funk orchestra to get things really toasty? Renegade Brass Band have established a big live reputation over the last few years, and have played packed-out shows at venues around the UK. Their sheer energy is enough to wipe every cloud from the sky, filling each on-looker with monstrous compulsions to groove out!

Continuing in the same vein of boisterous flow are The Correspondents whose shows are action packed from start to finish. Their infectious mash up of Jazz, Soul and Dance music, along with their boundless energy, has gained them some of the best live credentials in the UK. Named by The Telegraph as one of the Top 10 acts of Glastonbury in 2010, a burst of endorphins is inevitable when this duo hit the stage.

And it doesn’t end there. DJ duo The Allergies are also in town. Fresh from dropping new album ‘As We Do Our Thing’ in May, these guys have been getting some major props for their latest single to drop ‘Rock Rock’ featuring the legendary Andy Cooper of Ugly Duckling.

Sir Funk will of course be on hand to pop the party off. Rumour has it that this is the alter-ego of We, Like You founder Simon Melhuish himself – so don’t forget to swing buy the booth for a shot with the birthday boy.
