MC Chris Betts
Flyer Bubble: "Properly hilarious"- What's On London
Chris Betts began his comedy career in Montreal, Canada and has since performed all across Europe and North America at clubs and festivals such as SXSW (USA), Comedy Box International Comedy Festival (Norway), Dark Comedy Festival (Canada) Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival (UK) and the Zulu Comedy Festival (Denmark). Chris was chosen as part of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and he returned to Edinburgh to perform his successful first solo show, Social Animal, in 2015.
He has been published in the Huffington Post and the Alarmist and voices a number of characters in the cult hit animated comedy Sam Sweetmilk. Chris Betts’ mind is a curious place, where the philosophical meets the ridiculous. His shows are a perfect balance of incisive social satire and complete silliness. 2015 NATYS New Act of the Year (Finalist) and 2014 Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year (Finalist)
