The Swing Beat October 17

Dance, dance, dance the night away to an eclectic mix of swinging tunes such as Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway, Nina Simone, Peggy Lee, Elvis, Stray Cats, The Smiths, The Cure, Bryan Ferry, T Rex, Imelda May, Caro Emerald and plenty more. Bring your friends, bring your partner, all are welcome. The Wonder Inn is a fantastic venue with a large space for dancing as well as a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere for having a drink and a chat...perfect for winding down at the end of the week. There will be a lindy hop taster class taught by Vintage Kicks Dance from 8:30-9pm for anyone who would like to learn lindy hop. See www.facebook.com/VintageKicksDance No partner needed. You will learn a few basic steps in this class so you will be able to dance a basic partner dance this evening. 
However, you don't have to be able to lindy hop to enjoy this night, all are welcome!
