DJ HYPE

DJ Hype, whose real name is Kevin Ford, is a prominent figure in the drum and bass music scene. Born on March 22, 1968, in London, England, Hype has played a significant role in shaping the genre and has had a long and successful career as a DJ, producer, and record label owner.

Hype gained recognition in the late 1980s and early 1990s when he became involved in the emerging rave and hardcore scenes. His DJ sets and productions evolved with the changing trends, and he eventually became a crucial player in the development of the drum and bass genre. Known for his energetic and versatile mixing style, DJ Hype has been a fixture at major music festivals, clubs, and events worldwide.

In addition to his DJ career, DJ Hype founded the influential drum and bass record label Ganja Records, which he established in 1994. The label has been a platform for numerous successful artists within the drum and bass community, contributing to the genre's growth and development.

MC FEARLESS
