The Mine with Digital Mystikz aka Mala & Coki, Goth-Trad & more

The Mine x Outlook Festival - Brighton Launch PartyWe have teamed up with Outlook Festivall to bring you the experience of sound system music at it's finest. With Digital Mystikz aka Mala & Coki, who haven’t played as a duo in Brighton for nearly a decade, Goth-Trad jetting all the way from Japan & support at the controls, Sinai Sound System providing the weight and Deximl on the visual tip - we can guarantee, that it’s the one you don’t want to miss!

Mala is a producer, DJ, label owner and visionary best known for his contributions to the scene known as dubstep, where as the boss of DEEP MEDi and co-founder of dmz, Mark Lawrence is one of the most respected men. Fundamentally however, scenes, gig sizes, notable collaborations and major motion picture soundtracks are milestones of little import to someone like Mala. What was and remains central to him is his deep connection with sound and his ability to create frequencies and harmonics that share that connection in a way that blissfully, powerfully and peacefully unifies all those who listen.

Coki – the quiet man, who makes a big noise or one half of the Digital Mystikz duo, has repeatedly turned the music world upside down. Whether it's dancehall records or digging further into the world of grime - the one thing you can be assured of is, that Coki’s next move will leave people reeling and calling for a rewind.

Takeaki Maruyama, better known by his stage name Goth-Trad, is a unique producer with a unique style, who has emerged from the Japanese electronic scene in the last decade as one of the most arresting artists from his generation. Goth-Trad began composing dubstep in 2006 after being inspired by Wiley's "Morgue". He has produced five albums, the latest of which is "Psionics". Goth-Trad creates remarkable dance music with an abstract approach. We can’t wait to welcome back “The beast from the far East”.
